MIBR vs 3DMAX: insani Says Team Is “Renewed” Ahead of CS2 Major Push
MIBR Defeat 3DMAX at CS Asia Championships 2026
MIBR kicked off their CS Asia Championships 2026 campaign with a convincing 13-9 win over 3DMAX on Anubis, earning revenge for their earlier loss to the French squad at PGL Bucharest 2026.
The Brazilian side dominated the first half with an 11-1 CT performance before closing out the map despite a late comeback attempt from 3DMAX. The victory marked MIBR’s return to official competition after more than a month away from tournament play.
After the match, Felipe “insani” Yuji described MIBR as a “renewed and much improved team,” highlighting the work the roster put in during its preparation period before traveling to China.
According to insani, the team spent the break focusing on structural improvements, reviewing mistakes from previous tournaments, and strengthening communication inside the lineup.
MIBR Get Revenge for PGL Bucharest Loss
The result carried extra significance because 3DMAX had previously knocked MIBR out of PGL Bucharest 2026 in April.
During that playoff series, MIBR initially looked in control before 3DMAX mounted a comeback on Ancient and later secured a 13-9 victory on Nuke to close the series 2-1.
This time, however, MIBR looked far more prepared on Anubis. Their defensive setups consistently shut down 3DMAX’s executes, while the Brazilian side converted key mid-round situations to maintain momentum throughout the game.
The win also reinforced MIBR’s progress since transitioning into an international CS2 roster earlier this year.
MIBR’s International Project Continues to Improve
MIBR entered 2026 with major roster changes after signing Swedish in-game leader Linus “LNZ” Holtäng and Brazilian rifler Carlos “venomzera” Eduardo. The organization also added coach Nestor “LETN1” Tanić as part of its rebuild.
The roster move marked a significant transition for the Brazilian organization, with English becoming the team’s primary in-game language.
insani acknowledged that adapting to international communication has taken time, especially for players who previously competed only in Portuguese-speaking lineups. Still, he emphasized that the team now feels significantly more comfortable inside the new system.
LNZ previously shared similar thoughts in earlier interviews, explaining that communication issues became less noticeable as the roster gained more experience together.
The Swedish captain also said he feels respected within MIBR’s structure and believes the team has the potential to become a consistent top-20 contender in Counter-Strike 2.
kl1m Emerging as One of MIBR’s Key Players
One of the biggest positives for MIBR has been the rise of AWPer Klimentii “kl1m” Krivosheev.
Both insani and LNZ praised the young sniper’s mechanics and confidence, with LNZ previously describing him as a player with “insane mechanics.”
kl1m has already attracted attention thanks to strong LAN performances in Brazil, where he posted impressive individual ratings over recent months.
His aggressive style and ability to create openings have added another dimension to MIBR’s offense heading into the second half of the CS2 season.
MIBR Prepare for Tough PARIVISION Match
Following the win over 3DMAX, MIBR advanced to a high-profile matchup against PARIVISION, one of the strongest teams attending CS Asia Championships 2026.
PARIVISION entered the match after defeating Liquid 13-9, making them one of the early favorites in the event.
insani revealed that MIBR had already practiced against PARIVISION before the tournament and expected another difficult challenge.
The Brazilian player also stressed that the team’s primary goal is to maintain confidence and continue improving before the upcoming Counter-Strike 2 Major.
MIBR Looking to Build Momentum Before CS2 Major
While the victory over 3DMAX was only a group-stage match, it could become an important confidence boost for MIBR as they continue building chemistry inside their international roster.
The team has repeatedly stated that long-term consistency remains the main objective, especially against elite opposition from Europe and CIS regions.
With improved communication, stronger structure, and growing individual form from players like kl1m and insani, MIBR appear determined to establish themselves as serious contenders heading into the next stage of the 2026 CS2 season.
