LNZ Urges Collective Responsibility as MIBR Chase Major Breakthrough: “We Can’t Depend on insani or kl1m Every Game”

LNZ Calls for Greater Teamwide Impact as MIBR Aim Higher at IEM Cologne Major 2026
MIBR captain Linus “LNZ” Holtäng believes his team has reached a point where success can no longer depend solely on standout performances from Felipe “insani” Yuji and Klimentii “kl1m” Krivosheev. Speaking during the IEM Cologne Major 2026, the Swedish in-game leader emphasized that MIBR’s next step as a contender is building a system capable of producing victories through collective contributions rather than individual heroics.
The comments come amid a period of significant progress for the Brazilian organization. After reshaping its roster ahead of the 2026 season, MIBR entered a new era by appointing LNZ as its in-game leader and adding venomzera alongside him. The changes marked a continuation of the team's international project and placed the responsibility for tactical direction firmly in the hands of the former HEROIC player.
According to LNZ, one of the biggest priorities has been creating a structure where every player can contribute consistently. While insani and kl1m have often been MIBR’s most explosive performers, he stressed that the roster cannot expect those players to deliver “perfect games” every time the team steps onto the server.
Moving Beyond Star Dependence
Throughout 2026, MIBR have frequently relied on impact performances from insani and kl1m during crucial matches. Both players have emerged as key figures in the lineup, with insani continuing his development as one of Brazil’s most promising riflers and kl1m quickly establishing himself as one of the roster’s highest-upside additions.
However, LNZ believes sustainable success at the highest level requires a broader distribution of responsibility.
The Swedish leader explained that elite teams are capable of winning even when their stars are not producing exceptional numbers. For MIBR, reaching that level means improving teamwork, decision-making, and consistency across the entire lineup rather than depending on individual carry performances.
That philosophy has become increasingly important as the competition intensifies at the Major, where every stage introduces stronger opposition and fewer opportunities to recover from mistakes.
MIBR’s International Experiment Showing Progress
LNZ’s arrival marked one of MIBR’s boldest roster decisions in recent years. When the organization signed him at the beginning of 2026, he inherited the in-game leadership role and became a central figure in the team’s long-term project.
The transition has appeared smoother than many expected. In a previous HLTV interview, LNZ revealed that he quickly felt valued within the organization and appreciated the level of trust shown by both management and teammates. He noted that his opinions carried significant weight inside the team environment, helping him settle into the leadership position.
The roster currently consists of LNZ, insani, kl1m, brnz4n, and venomzera, with coaches LETN1 and nak supporting the squad. The lineup entered the Major cycle ranked among the strongest teams in the Americas region and has steadily gained international experience throughout the season.
Confidence Growing After Strong Recent Results
MIBR’s confidence has been boosted by encouraging performances leading into Cologne. The team produced several notable results at the CS Asia Championships, where they secured victories against opponents such as 3DMAX, B8, and PARIVISION.
Following those wins, kl1m stated that the team was entering every series with significantly greater confidence and openly targeted a deep Major run, mentioning Stage 3 and even playoff ambitions. The Russian star also highlighted the momentum MIBR had built during their successful campaign in Shanghai.
Those ambitions align closely with LNZ’s vision for the team. While individual stars remain crucial, he believes MIBR’s ceiling will ultimately be determined by how effectively the entire roster performs under pressure.
A New Identity Taking Shape
One of the defining themes of MIBR’s 2026 season has been the effort to balance raw firepower with a more structured approach. LNZ has repeatedly emphasized the value of gaining experience against elite European competition and using those opportunities to accelerate the team's development.
The organization’s international roster experiment has already produced signs of progress. With experienced leadership, emerging stars, and increasing confidence from recent tournament runs, MIBR appear to be evolving into a more complete team.
For LNZ, the challenge now is ensuring that growth translates into consistency on the server. If MIBR can spread impact across all five players instead of leaning heavily on insani and kl1m, the team may finally have the foundation required to compete with the world’s best over the long term.
As the Major continues, MIBR’s progress will serve as a test of that philosophy. The talent is already there; the next step is proving that the roster can win as a unit rather than relying on individual brilliance to carry it across the finish line.
