Legacy, M80, FlyQuest, and ECSTATIC round out the BLAST Open London field
With wins in their regional BLAST Rising qualifiers, Legacy (SA), M80 (NA), FlyQuest (Asia), and ECSTATIC (Europe) have secured the final four spots at BLAST Open London 2025. The online group stage runs August 27–September 1, with the top three teams from each eight‑team group advancing to the LAN finals in London on September 5–7.
How they qualified
Legacy swept Galorys, Sharks, and Imperial 2–0 in the Ace SA Masters Season 2 qualifier.
M80 beat Supernova Comets, Marsborne, and NRG—all 2–0—in Ace NA Masters Season 2 after adding HexT in July.
ECSTATIC won RES Showdown 2 with three straight 2–1 series over Zero Tenacity, fnatic, and VP.Prodigy.
FlyQuest rolled through BLAST Rising Asia Season 2, defeating Alter Ego, Eruption, and The Huns 2–0.
Completed 16‑team lineup (post‑qualifiers): Vitality, MOUZ, The MongolZ, Spirit, FaZe, FURIA, Natus Vincere, paiN, GamerLegion, G2, Virtus.pro, HEROIC, plus the four Rising winners Legacy, FlyQuest, M80, ECSTATIC. Notably, paiN replaced Aurora earlier this month after Aurora withdrew due to a tight schedule; BLAST declined to comment at the time.
Format & scheduling notes
BLAST moved the group stage online “to reduce travel strain and ease logistical pressures” during a congested calendar. The playoff stage remains at OVO Arena Wembley.
