Kyxsan After Falcons Exit: “I’m Sad I Couldn’t Help Them Achieve Their Dreams” | CS2 Roster News

Damjan “kyxsan” Stoilkovski has broken his silence following his removal from Team Falcons, sharing an emotional reflection on his time with the CS2 roster and the team’s unrealized ambitions.

Kyxsan reflects on Team Falcons departure

In a vlog published by Falcons after IEM Rio 2026, kyxsan described his exit as bittersweet. While he expressed gratitude for the experience, he admitted disappointment over not being able to lead the team to more trophies.

“I’m sad that I couldn’t help them achieve those dreams, although I’m sure they will succeed in the future with the new lineup.”

The Macedonian in-game leader emphasized that Falcons stood out from his previous teams due to their strong chemistry and friendship outside the server.

“Team Falcons was different. We didn’t win many trophies, but we were always competing at the top. We became really good friends.”

Falcons roster change after IEM Rio 2026

Kyxsan was benched on April 20 following Falcons’ third-place finish at IEM Rio 2026. His departure ended a 16-month run with the organization, during which the team consistently reached finals and secured a major victory at PGL Bucharest.

Shortly after, Falcons signed Finn Andersen (karrigan), marking a significant shift in leadership. The veteran in-game leader reunited with Nikola Kovač and coach Danny Sørensen.

Karrigan commented on the move:

“Excited for this new chapter. Let’s make history.”

Player reactions to kyxsan benching

Falcons players and CS2 stars reacted to kyxsan’s departure, highlighting his impact on the team:

  • Nikola Kovač revealed that kyxsan knew about the roster change before the tournament, making his performance at IEM Rio even more impressive.
  • Ilya Osipov called him “an awesome friend and teammate,” saying he had no regrets about their time together.
  • Mathieu Herbaut noted that Falcons now need time to adapt to a new system under karrigan.

What’s next for kyxsan?

Kyxsan has not yet announced his next team, but his leadership experience and consistent top-tier finishes make him one of the most valuable free agents in the CS2 transfer market.

As the Team Falcons rebuild continues, fans will be watching closely to see whether the new roster can finally convert deep runs into championships — something kyxsan came close to, but ultimately fell short of achieving.
