Johnny Speeds bench Svedjehed, trial Licale
Johnny Speeds have moved Leo “Svedjehed” Svedjehed to the bench and will trial Liam “Licale” Leckremo as the team searches for a better formula after an uneven run of results. “This decision is based on our recent results. We’re happy with how far we’ve come, but we want to do even better,” the club said in a statement, adding: “Leo [Svedjehed] has been a solid piece of the puzzle, and this is an attempt to try a different dynamic of roles in the team. We will keep evaluating and aiming to take that next step.”
The change comes roughly seven months after Svedjehed joined from EYEBALLERS in late April. During his stint, the Swede averaged around a 0.97–0.98 rating for Johnny Speeds and helped the team win the Svenska Elitserien Spring 2025 Finals.
Licale, 25, most recently played for 1ADL and had short spells on mixed or lower-tier projects such as Volt and Mission Possible. Across limited HLTV-recorded maps, he’s posted a 1.06 Rating 3.0 (48 maps all-time), with stronger numbers in very small samples on specific lineups. He now gets a trial at tier-two level to prove he can scale.
With the move, Johnny Speeds’ active five is expected to be:
draken, Lekr0, Sapec, HEAP, Licale (trial), with BARBARR coaching. Svedjehed moves to the bench.
