FlyQuest Defeats B8 Esports in IEM Cologne 2025 Play-In Lower Bracket

FlyQuest secured a hard-fought victory over B8 Esports in the lower bracket of the IEM Cologne 2025 Play-In stage. The intense CS2 series ended with a 2-1 scoreline in favor of FlyQuest, with map results of 13:10 on Dust2, 11:13 on Mirage, and a thrilling 19:16 on Inferno.
With this win, FlyQuest advances to face the loser of the FaZe Clan vs. Team Liquid matchup in the next round. The team, led by Australian star Justin "jks" Savage, remains in contention for a spot in the group stage.
On the other side, B8 Esports has been eliminated from the tournament. The Ukrainian roster, featuring Andrii "npl" Kukharskyi, finishes in 21st–24th place and takes home a $2,500 prize. Earlier, North American team Complexity also exited the competition.
IEM Cologne 2025 is taking place from July 23 to August 3 in Germany, featuring top-tier international teams competing for a $1,000,000 prize pool.
