FUT Claim First LAN Trophy with DraculaN Season 3 Triumph
FUT have captured their first-ever LAN title in Counter-Strike, defeating ECSTATIC 2–0 in the grand final of DraculaN Season 3 in Bucharest, Romania. The Turkish organization closed out Train 16–14 in overtime—despite nearly squandering an 11–1 lead—before sealing the championship with a composed 13–8 victory on Dust2.
The win marks a major breakthrough for the young FUT roster, whose core previously competed under the NAVI Junior banner. Their path to the trophy was far from straightforward: an early best-of-one loss to AM sent them into the lower bracket immediately, forcing the team into a long elimination run.
From there, Krabeni’s squad found their rhythm. They survived a challenging opening lower-bracket match against UNiTY, swept Friendly Campers, and went on to eliminate Inner Circle and Tricked in a close 2–1 series. On the final day of play, FUT delivered back-to-back 2–0 victories over ENCE and Passion UA, securing a rematch against ECSTATIC in the grand final.
The title match turned largely on momentum swings. On Train, FUT’s explosive T side—driven by standout plays from lauNX—secured a dominant 11–1 start. ECSTATIC fought back with a strong defensive half anchored by acoR, forcing overtime, but FUT ultimately closed the map. Dust2 was more controlled: FUT again opened strong, ECSTATIC briefly leveled the score, but Krabeni’s influential CT-side calling and key multikills kept the Danes from mounting another comeback.
In the grand final, lauNX led FUT’s scoreboard with a 46–34 scoreline and a 1.38 rating, while cmtry followed with a 1.23 rating. Across the entire tournament, lauNX and cmtry finished as FUT’s top performers with 1.20 ratings each, and dziugss closely trailed at 1.19. On the ECSTATIC side, acoR stood out as one of the playoffs’ best overall performers, averaging a 1.35 rating through the event.
By winning DraculaN Season 3, FUT earned $5,579 in prize money and received a sizeable boost in Valve Regional Standings, climbing 19 positions to reach 22nd place globally. ECSTATIC claimed the runner-up spot and $2,790, with Passion UA and ENCE completing the top four.
Additional Event Context
ECSTATIC entered the grand final undefeated, having dominated the upper bracket without dropping a single map, including a commanding 2–0 victory over Passion UA in the upper-bracket final.
The tournament featured a 16-team playoff bracket following GSL-style groups. FUT’s rough start in a best-of-one against AM initially seemed costly, but it eventually set the stage for their impressive lower-bracket comeback.
Organizers have already confirmed that DraculaN Season 4 will take place on December 17–21, 2025, continuing the event’s open-LAN structure in Bucharest.
