FURIA reverse-sweep NAVI to win TWC 2025

FURIA pulled off a stunning reverse sweep over Natus Vincere, winning 3–2 in the Thunderpick World Championship 2025 grand final in Malta. After dropping Mirage and Inferno without much resistance, the Brazilians rallied on Nuke, rolled through Dust2, and sealed the title on Train to claim their second LAN trophy in a month—and momentum for the upcoming Major in Budapest.

NAVI looked in control early, racing to a 10–2 T-side half on Mirage and carrying that form onto Inferno, where b1t’s multi-kills and 125 ADR anchored a tight defense. But FURIA steadied on Nuke with key contributions from KSCERATO and FalleN, before molodoy and YEKINDAR took over the last two maps. Train was a rout: an 11–1 CT half from FURIA and a pistol-round 4K from FalleN closed the series. Map scores: Mirage 13–6, Inferno 13–9 (NAVI), Nuke 13–8, Dust2 13–5, Train 13–1 (FURIA).

“First MVP, I’m so happy. Everything in God’s time, you know? … We never stopped believing [at 0–2].” (Interview published Oct 20.)

“Our map pool is not ready yet for a BO5.” (Context: reaction after the TWC final.)
