FlyQuest Bench Regali, List Romanian AWPer for Transfer as Story Looms as Replacement

FlyQuest Bench Regali, List Romanian AWPer for Transfer as Story Looms as Replacement

FlyQuest Bench Regali as Roster Shuffle Begins

North American CS2 organization FlyQuest have announced that Romanian sniper Iulian “regali” Harjău has been benched and placed on the transfer list by mutual agreement, the club confirmed on Sunday.

The 23-year-old AWPer, who joined FlyQuest at the end of 2024, will part ways with the team after a season in which the squad failed to make a significant impact on the international stage. Regali’s overall positive statistics with FlyQuest — including earlier competitive contributions — declined in high-level matches, with his average rating dipping against top-20 opposition in 2025.

FlyQuest’s announcement stresses that the decision was mutually agreed upon and that the organization appreciates regali’s efforts and time with the team. Following the roster change, the Romanian player has been listed for transfer, meaning other teams are now able to pursue signing him.

Potential Replacement Linked to SAW Transfer Activity

According to earlier transfer reports, FlyQuest is expected to fill regali’s spot with Portuguese AWPer João “story” Vieira, formerly of SAW. The SAW roster was recently confirmed to have been sold, freeing up story as a potential roster addition for FlyQuest.

Story brings experience in AWP roles and was reported as a target in FlyQuest’s offseason planning. This move could signal a shift in FlyQuest’s tactical approach going into 2026, with the organization seeking to optimize firepower and mid-round impact.
