The full roster for FISSURE Playground 2 has now been confirmed, rounding out a 16-team lineup set to battle for the $1.25 million prize pool. The two-week event is scheduled for September 12–21, with the group stage running September 12–17 and playoffs slated for September 19–21 at the Belgrade Arena.

Tournament Format & Structure

FISSURE Playground 2 will utilize a Swiss-system group stage over September 12–17, with best-of-3 matches, from which the top eight teams will advance. The subsequent playoffs (September 19–21) will feature a single-elimination bracket: quarterfinals and semifinals are Bo3, while the grand final is Bo5.

Prize Distribution

The revamped $1.25 million prize pool allocates:

$200,000 + $160,000 club share for 1st place

$100,000 + $130,000 club share for 2nd

$40,000 + $90,000 club share for 3rd–4th

$17,500 + $50,000 for 5th–8th

$10,000 + $13,330 for 9th–11th

$5,000 + $10,000 for 12th–14th

$2,500 + $5,000 for 15th–16th

Context & Significance

This expansion marks a step-up from Playground 1, which had a $1 million prize pool and was held in mid‑July. TYLOO notably emerged as champions in that inaugural edition, overcoming Astralis in the grand final. Their return in Playground 2 adds intrigue, as they aim to defend their crown.
