FaZe Clan and BetBoom Team Confirmed for $1M XSE Pro League 2026 in China

FaZe Clan and BetBoom Team have officially been confirmed for the upcoming XSE Pro League 2026, a major $1 million CS2 LAN event scheduled to take place in Guangzhou, China, from July 1-12.

Tournament organizers revealed the first eight invited teams for the event, with FaZe and BetBoom joined by Legacy, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Alliance, EYEBALLERS, 9z Team and Nemesis. Eight additional teams are expected to qualify through the Valve Regional Standings system.

According to HLTV, the event will feature a Swiss-system group stage followed by a single-elimination playoff bracket. Opening matches will be played in best-of-one format, while advancement and elimination series will use best-of-three matches.

Why This Tournament Matters for FaZe

For FaZe Clan, XSE Pro League 2026 arrives during a crucial rebuilding phase. The international lineup has struggled with consistency throughout 2026 and recently missed qualification for several top-tier events. The tournament in Guangzhou could become an important opportunity for the squad led by Russel Van Dulken to regain momentum heading into the second half of the competitive season.

BetBoom Continue Their Rise in CS2

BetBoom Team continue to establish themselves as one of the most dangerous CIS teams outside the elite top-five circle. The roster featuring Kirill Mikhailov, Aleksandr Zagodyrenko and Pavel Bogdanov has steadily climbed the rankings during 2026.

Following one of BetBoom’s biggest recent victories, Boombl4 admitted the team was surprised by its own level during the match:

“I’m really shocked, like everyone else.”

The captain added that the roster struggled with nerves late in the series but still managed to close out the win. That momentum now carries into one of the largest summer tournaments on the CS2 calendar.

XSE Pro League Expands Its Presence in China

The XSE brand has rapidly expanded across the Chinese Counter-Strike scene over the last two years. Earlier editions of the circuit included smaller events in Luoyang, Chengdu and Shanghai before the organizers upgraded to a full-scale Tier-1 international LAN for 2026.

With a $1 million prize pool and Valve ranking implications, the Guangzhou event is expected to attract several additional top-10 teams once the remaining invites are finalized.
