BLAST Reveals On-Air Talent for Rivals S1 in Fort Worth
Tournament organizer BLAST Premier has officially unveiled the full broadcast talent lineup for BLAST Rivals Season 1, set to take place in Fort Worth, Texas, from April 29 to May 3.
The event will feature a nine-person on-air crew, combining experienced hosts, analysts, and casters tasked with guiding viewers through one of the key early-season tournaments in the 2026 Counter-Strike 2 calendar.
Hosts and Presentation Team
Leading the desk will be Eefje Depoortere (sjokz), who continues her busy 2026 schedule after previously appearing at IEM Kraków 2026. She will serve as the desk host, anchoring analysis segments and player discussions throughout the event.
The arena audience in Fort Worth will be engaged by stage host Mike Winnick, while Iain Chambers will take on a dual role as show host and interviewer, expanding his responsibilities after working at BLAST Open Rotterdam.
Analyst Desk
The analyst lineup leans heavily into North American expertise, featuring:
- Alex Ellenberg
- Dustin Mouret
Both analysts bring established experience from previous BLAST events and broader CS2 coverage, providing tactical breakdowns and contextual insight during desk segments.
Casters and Commentary
The casting lineup includes two established duos:
- Mohan Govindasamy & Conner Girvan
- Jason O'Toole & Adam Hawthorne
The Scrawny–launders pairing remains one of BLAST’s most consistent commentary duos, while moses and Dinko add additional experience and stylistic variety to the broadcast.
Event Context and Format
BLAST Rivals S1 will feature eight invited teams, including top-tier organizations such as Team Vitality, Natus Vincere, FURIA, and FUT Esports.
The competition structure follows BLAST’s Rivals format:
- Two double-elimination groups
- Top three teams from each group advance
- A single-elimination playoff bracket
- Grand final played as a best-of-five series
Earlier announcements confirmed the opening matchups and group distribution, with key clashes such as Vitality vs. FUT and Natus Vincere vs. FaZe set to kick off the tournament.
Continuity with Previous BLAST Events
The 2026 broadcast lineup maintains continuity with previous BLAST productions, retaining core figures like Mauisnake, dusT, Scrawny, and launders—talent that also featured in earlier Rivals iterations and other BLAST events.
At the same time, adjustments such as Iain Chambers’ expanded role reflect BLAST’s evolving broadcast structure as it continues refining its CS2 circuit presentation.
Summary
With a balanced mix of experienced hosts, analysts, and casters, BLAST Rivals Season 1 is set to deliver a high-production broadcast alongside a stacked team lineup. The event marks another key stop in the 2026 BLAST Premier circuit, continuing the organizer’s push to blend elite competition with polished on-air coverage.
