BetBoom Team's Fall Begins with 2–1 Loss to ENCE in StarLadder Fall 2025 EU Qualifier

August 13, 2025BetBoom Team stumbled in their opening match of the StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2025: European Qualifier, dropping a 2–1 series to ENCE. Following two dominant maps from ENCE—13-6 on Nuke and 13-2 on Ancient—BetBoom salvaged a third-map win 13-6 on Mirage, but it wasn’t enough to even the series.

Tournament Overview

This European closed qualifier, held online August 13–17, features 16 teams competing for four spots at the main Fall 2025 StarSeries LAN in Bucharest (September 18–21), where a $500,000 prize pool awaits.

Match Breakdown

  • Nuke: ENCE displayed control with a 13–6 opening win.

  • Mirage: BetBoom fought back to win 13–6, forcing a decider.

  • Ancient: ENCE closed out the series with a convincing 13–2 final map.

ENCE’s lineup—rigoN, myltsi, sdy, Neityu, and podi—showcased their adaptability across maps, while BetBoom’s core of Boombl4, d1Ledez, S1ren, ArtFr0st, and Magnojez showed flashes of resilience but couldn’t sustain it.

Betting & Odds Perspective

Before the match, BetBoom Team entered as the slight favorite, with odds around 1.65 compared to ENCE’s 2.10, pointing to expectations of a tight contest. Despite that, ENCE’s in-game execution ultimately carried them through.

Wider Qualifier Field

The qualifier includes a mix of major EU names and emerging rosters. Invitees include NIP, ** fnatic**, OG, PARIVISION, Passion UA, Spirit Academy, 9INE, BIG, TNL, and others—highlighting both established and youthful talent vying for qualification.

What’s Next for BetBoom

With the loss, BetBoom drops into the lower bracket of Group A, where they must win consecutive matches to stay alive. On the same day, fnatic vs PARIVISION is scheduled as another high-stakes opening face-off.

Final Thought

BetBoom’s qualifier run hinges on their response to this early setback. ENCE, meanwhile, have built momentum. One misstep in this format, however, and even a single map swing could end qualification hopes.
