B8 Beat BESTIA to Win Parken Challenger Championship Season 3

Ukrainian squad B8 secured the title at Parken Challenger Championship Season 3 after completing a dramatic reverse sweep against BESTIA in the grand final. The series ended 2–1 in favor of B8, with map scores of 8–13 on Dust2, 16–14 on Mirage, and 16–12 on Ancient.

The victory marks one of the most important results for B8 in recent months, significantly strengthening their position in the race for a Major invitation. Heading into the playoffs, the team was under pressure after an inconsistent group stage, where they suffered an upset loss to the unranked WAZABI lineup. Despite finishing the group phase with a 4–1 record, that defeat forced B8 into a more difficult playoff path.

Their playoff run proved anything but easy. After falling to 3DMAX in the upper bracket semifinals, B8 dropped into the lower bracket and had to fight through elimination matches. They eventually earned revenge against the French side in the consolidation final, winning a tight three-map series to keep their title hopes alive. Notably, every playoff match B8 played went the full distance, highlighting both their resilience and their ability to perform under pressure.

The grand final itself followed a similar pattern. BESTIA started strong by securing their own map pick, Dust2, with a convincing 13–8 victory. However, B8 responded on Mirage in a highly competitive map that went into overtime. The Ukrainian side showed remarkable composure, overturning a 0–7 deficit early in the map and eventually edging out a 16–14 win to level the series.

The decider on Ancient was another closely contested battle, but B8 maintained control in key moments, denying any late comeback attempt from BESTIA and closing the map 16–12 to secure the championship.

From a broader perspective, this result has significant implications for both teams. For B8, the title likely pushes them into Major qualification range, a crucial milestone given how competitive the European scene currently is. Their lower-bracket run and ability to repeatedly win deciding maps demonstrate a level of mental strength that could be decisive in future high-stakes events.

For BESTIA, the loss is a missed opportunity but not a catastrophic one. The Argentine team had an impressive tournament run, including multiple victories over 3DMAX, which helped them climb in the rankings and stay in contention for an Americas Major spot.  However, their situation remains delicate: they were under additional pressure due to travel commitments, as they needed to quickly relocate to Riga for their next event. Any setbacks there, including a potential forfeit, could negatively impact their standing in the qualification race.

Community reactions also reflected the significance of the result, with analysts and fans noting the potential ranking boost for B8 and the narrow margins that defined the series. Some projections suggested that the win could push B8 higher in global rankings, while BESTIA risked a slight drop despite their strong performance.

Overall, Parken Challenger Championship Season 3 showcased the competitiveness of the tier-two Counter-Strike scene, where small details and momentum swings often determine the outcome. B8’s triumph stands out not only because of the trophy itself, but also because of the context: a lower-bracket run, multiple three-map victories, and a comeback performance in the grand final.

If this trajectory continues, B8 could emerge as a serious contender in upcoming international events, while BESTIA remain firmly in the mix as one of the strongest teams in the Americas fighting for Major qualification.
