Ax1Le and FL4MUS help 9BOOMPRO pull off upset on Day One of Majestic LanDaLan
On the opening day of Majestic LanDaLan #3 in Moscow, 9BOOMPRO delivered one of the biggest surprises of the group stage, as their mix-team stunned Nemiga to take a 2–1 victory.
After dropping the first map, Mirage, 9BOOMPRO roared back with convincing wins on Inferno and Dust2 to close out the series. The turning point came courtesy of standout performances from Timur “FL4MUS” Marev and Sergey “Ax1Le” Rykhtorov, who fueled the comeback. On Mirage, they faltered early, but in the decisive maps their firepower proved too much for Nemiga to handle.
The final map, Dust2, ended in 13–9 in favour of 9BOOMPRO. On Inferno, they held off Nemiga 13–9.
Other Day One Results
While 9BOOMPRO stole the spotlight, a few other expected outcomes also took place:
-
BetBoom defeated Betera 2–1, led by Magnojez on the CT side of Dust2 and a monstrous performance from d1Ledez on Train.
-
PARIVISION had a relatively smooth outing against Nuclear TigeRES, winning 2–0. Both Jame and xiELO showcased strong T-side presence across the maps.
-
TPuDCATb TPu handled Spirit Academy in straight sets, with executor and KIRO standing out for their consistency.
These wins sent Betera, Nemiga, Spirit Academy, and Nuclear TigeRES to the losing side on Day 1.
