Aurora sweep GamerLegion 13-1 / 13-1 to reach the PGL Masters Bucharest 2025 final

Turkish outfit Aurora delivered a dominating performance to dismantle GamerLegion in their semi-final matchup, taking both maps 13-1 and securing their place in the grand final of PGL Masters Bucharest 2025. 

From the opening pistol rounds on both maps — Overpass and Dust 2 — Aurora held complete control, leaving GamerLegion with just two round wins across 28 total rounds played. 

On Overpass, Aurora’s in-game leader MAJ3R delivered a career-best showing, posting a 2.68 rating, 133 ADR and an 18 % round swing.  Meanwhile on Dust 2, star AWPer XANTARES stepped up, finishing with a 2.26 rating, 126 ADR and an 11 % round swing. 

For GamerLegion, the hopes of a comeback never really surfaced: outside a near-ace attempt by PR in the first pistol round, the team’s output was minimal. They failed to win any of the first five rounds after the pistol on map one, and never recovered. 

With this emphatic win, Aurora advance to the final, where they will await the winner of the other semi-final between Legacy and SAW. Meanwhile, GamerLegion drop to the third-place decider.
