9INE Bench bnox Amid CS2 Roster Overhaul Following VRS Ranking Collapse
9INE have officially benched Bartosz “bnox” Niebisz, continuing the organization’s ongoing Counter-Strike 2 roster rebuild after a disappointing start to 2026.
The Polish esports organization confirmed on May 6 that bnox had been moved to the inactive lineup, making him the second player removed from the active roster within a week. The announcement follows 9INE’s earlier decision to bench Jan “cej0t” Dyl, signaling major changes inside the team ahead of the summer CS2 season.
9INE announce bnox benching
In an official statement posted on social media, 9INE thanked bnox for his contribution during his time with the team:
“As of today, Bartosz ‘bnox’ Niebisz has been moved to the inactive roster. We would like to thank Bartosz for his efforts during his journey with us.”
bnox later responded publicly, confirming the decision and expressing gratitude to his teammates and staff members.
The 20-year-old rifler joined 9INE in December 2025 as part of the organization’s attempt to rebuild around a younger Polish core. However, the project struggled to deliver consistent results in online competition throughout the first half of 2026.
Poor CS2 results forced 9INE roster changes
The latest roster move comes after a difficult period for 9INE in the Valve Regional Standings (VRS). According to HLTV, the team dropped from No. 34 to No. 62 in the rankings during the latest update.
That decline significantly reduced the team’s chances of receiving invitations to high-level Counter-Strike 2 tournaments and qualifiers, increasing pressure on the organization to make immediate changes.
Although 9INE managed respectable playoff runs at smaller events such as:
LORGAR Rankings Season 1
IstanbuLAN 2026
the team failed to produce strong results against higher-tier opposition.
The organization appears determined to rebuild before the next wave of important online qualifiers begins.
cej0t was benched days before bnox
bnox’s removal follows the benching of cej0t on May 1. In that announcement, 9INE praised the player and hinted that more roster changes could follow:
“Thank you for everything, cej0t. You have a bright future ahead of you!”
cej0t had spent around 10 months on the active lineup and was considered one of the team’s more stable performers during several difficult tournaments in late 2025 and early 2026.
The back-to-back benchings strongly suggest that 9INE are preparing a larger restructuring rather than isolated roster adjustments.
Could adamS join 9INE?
HLTV also reported that 9INE recently used Adam “adamS” Marian during the Stake Ranked Closed Qualifier, fueling speculation about a possible permanent transfer.
At the time of writing, the organization has not officially confirmed any new signings.
If additional roster moves are finalized in the coming weeks, 9INE could enter the next CS2 tournament cycle with an almost entirely rebuilt core.
Current 9INE CS2 roster
Following the benching of bnox, 9INE’s active Counter-Strike 2 roster currently consists of:
Rasmus “raalz” Steensborg
Tobias “kraghen” Kragh Jensen
Alan “flayy” Krupa
Coach
Danny “BERRY” Krüger
Inactive players
Bartosz “bnox” Niebisz
Jan “cej0t” Dyl
The organization has yet to announce who will complete the starting five ahead of upcoming CS2 competitions.
